Who Are We?
We are an international collective of artists between the ages of 23 and 28. As a generation largely raised on Nintendo DS consoles, Wiis, and indie RPGs steeped in retro aesthetics, we grew up alongside the genesis of the iPhone. We inherit both a nostalgia for technology, and a critical awareness of its fractures.

As we tip past the first quarter of the twenty first century, we anticipate an upheaval and change with the contemporary art industry, which is evolving alongside new technologies, softwares, and mediums.
Simulacrum acts as a dialogue, a meditation, and conversation between our artists, positing the philosophical, political, and natural implications of digitisation.

Together we call into question, what it means to be living in such a comfortable cage.
